I provide local seniors with education, information, and assistance in identifying which type of Medicare health plan will best fit their specific needs and budget. I also offer continued support for any future questions or plan changes once the policy is in place. Seniors are constantly solicited with phone calls, mail, and commercials from out-of-state agencies enticing them to change their Medicare health plan. Are these solicitors really acting in the best interest of the senior? Are they well-informed on local plans? Can they be reached for future questions? Typically the answer is no. Ensuring seniors are not being taken advantage of and maintaining their best interest is always my top priority. I take pride in being a trusted contact and resource for companies to refer their upcoming retirees for 'New to Medicare' consultations and managers of Independent Senior Living Facilities to call on to review their resident's plans.
